The meeting was attended by the Deputy General Director of the Energy and Healthcare Department of Sojitz Corporation, Yasuhide Machida, the Deputy General Director of the Aviation, Transport and Social Infrastructure Department, Kanehisa Nango, as well as Deputy Ministers of Economy and Finance Ilkhomjon Umrzakov, Otabek Fazilkarimov, Umid Abidkhadjayev, and other responsible representatives.

For reference: Sojitz Corporation is a major Japanese trading and investment company (sogo shosha), established in 2004 as a result of the merger between Nissho Iwai Corporation and Nichimen Corporation. Sojitz operates in more than 50 countries worldwide, investing in sectors such as power plants, mining projects, automotive supply, and agricultural modernization in many countries.

During the dialogue, the parties discussed developing mutual cooperation ties, further expanding areas of collaboration, economic processes in our country, and projects being implemented on the basis of public-private partnership (PPP).

During the discussions, the following areas were specifically highlighted:

Jointly implemented projects and expanding their scope;

Infrastructure development, green transformation, IT and startup project support;

Projects implemented on the basis of PPP, in particular, construction of modern multi-specialty hospitals in the regions, improvement of power transmission infrastructure based on modern requirements, and modernization of the drinking water supply system for the population;

Implementation of consistent measures to accelerate the pace of economic growth in our country, as well as to achieve future priority goals and establish comprehensive experience exchange processes.

At the conclusion of the negotiations, the parties agreed to develop mutual cooperation ties, develop effective projects in the above-mentioned areas, and expand the exchange of ideas.
